OK, not the most convincing image of an eclipse ever, but you can just see the bite out of the sun at around the 5 o'clock point. The Grey May mist rolled in just as this started...
We watched a partial eclipse a couple of years ago and it was awesome, you could see how people saw them as portents.
Just got a telescope again and waiting for a clear night to try it out. We got a Celestron Nexstar 5SE, would have liked a 8SE, but we went for something portable rather than max power.
